Conflict of Interest Policy

ALEXANDRIA (Journal of Economics, Business, & Entrepreneurship) is committed to ensuring transparency, objectivity, and editorial independence throughout the research and publication processes.

A conflict of interest may arise when financial, professional, institutional, commercial, personal, or other relationships could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, research findings or editorial decisions.

Conflicts of Interest for Authors

Authors must disclose all relevant potential conflicts of interest, including:

  1. Financial support from companies, organizations, or funding institutions.

  2. Employment, consultancy, or advisory relationships.

  3. Ownership of shares or financial interests related to the research.

  4. Commercial partnerships or business affiliations.

  5. Personal or institutional relationships that may influence research interpretation.

  6. Other interests that could affect the objectivity of the research.

Conflicts of Interest for Reviewers

Reviewers must disclose potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.

Reviewers should decline invitations when professional, institutional, financial, or personal relationships may compromise their independence.

Conflicts of Interest for Editors

Editors must not participate in editorial decisions involving manuscripts where they have significant conflicts of interest.

Such manuscripts must be assigned to another qualified and independent editor.

Disclosure Statement

All submitted manuscripts must include a Conflict of Interest Statement.

When no conflicts exist, authors may use the following statement:

"The authors declare that they have no known financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that could have influenced the research reported in this manuscript."

Management of Conflicts

Disclosure of a potential conflict does not automatically result in manuscript rejection.

The Editorial Board will assess the nature and significance of the conflict and implement appropriate measures to maintain transparency and editorial independence.

Failure to disclose significant conflicts of interest may result in editorial investigation, correction, or other appropriate action.
