Manuscript Types
ALEXANDRIA (Journal of Economics, Business, & Entrepreneurship) welcomes original scholarly manuscripts that contribute to theoretical development, empirical understanding, and practical innovation in economics, business, management, and entrepreneurship.
The journal considers the following types of manuscripts:
1. Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles present new empirical findings based on quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. Manuscripts should demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, and significant contributions to economic, business, management, or entrepreneurship research.
2. Review Articles
Review Articles provide comprehensive and critical evaluations of existing research, identify theoretical and empirical gaps, and propose future research directions in relevant disciplines.
3. Systematic Literature Reviews
Systematic Literature Reviews synthesize existing research through transparent and reproducible procedures, including clearly defined research questions, search strategies, eligibility criteria, and systematic analysis. Authors are encouraged to follow recognized reporting standards such as PRISMA, where appropriate.
4. Meta-Analysis Articles
Meta-Analysis Articles employ appropriate statistical methods to combine and evaluate findings from multiple independent studies, producing evidence-based conclusions relevant to economics, business, or entrepreneurship.
5. Case Studies
Case Studies provide in-depth investigations of organizations, enterprises, industries, markets, entrepreneurial activities, or economic phenomena. Manuscripts must demonstrate analytical rigor and contribute meaningful theoretical or practical insights beyond the specific case examined.
6. Conceptual and Theoretical Articles
Conceptual and Theoretical Articles develop, refine, or critically evaluate theories, models, and conceptual frameworks relevant to the journal's scope. Manuscripts should offer clear theoretical novelty and scholarly contributions.
All manuscripts must comply with the journal's Focus and Scope, Author Guidelines, research ethics requirements, and peer-review standards.
