Abstrak

Industri fast fashion mengalami perkembangan pesat sejalan dengan permintaan pasar dan tren fesyen dinamis yang berubah setiap tahun. Di balik pertumbuhan industri ini, terdapat banyak dampak negatif, termasuk eksploitasi tenaga kerja dan pencemaran lingkungan. Permintaan dari industri ini mengakibatkan peningkatan konsumsi sumber daya alam, yang pada akhirnya menghasilkan limbah yang dapat mencemari lingkungan. Selain itu, hak-hak pekerja seringkali tidak terpenuhi dan mereka menghadapi krisis terkait upah dan jaminan keselamatan. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi dan pemahaman dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka untuk mengkaji langkah-langkah yang dapat diambil untuk memitigasi dampak negatif tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperlukan kesadaran dari berbagai pihak untuk secara aktif mendorong penerapan praktik fesyen yang berkelanjutan dan bertanggung jawab.
