Author Guidelines

The Journal of Multidisciplinary Science and Natural Resource Management (MSNR) publishes different types of articles in Bahasa Indonesia and English. Below is the list:

  • Original research articles: original manuscripts that contain new research findings in any field of knowledge.
  • Short Communications: publications that are brief and present novel discoveries or research findings to quickly disseminate knowledge.
  • Case Studies: case studies that contain a study of a case in which every process is carried out in detail, sharply and in-depth.
  • Meta-Analyses Articles: Meta-Analyses are a typical way to assess and summarize the body of literature to give thorough answers to particular research topics. These papers synthesize information from several studies to produce strong findings that pinpoint trends, connections, and overall impacts within the corpus of research.
  • Theoretical Articles/Opinion: The goal of theoretical and opinion papers is to provide fresh insights on well-established ideas by constructing new theories or expanding on preexisting ones. These articles explore a field's conceptual underpinnings and offer fresh frameworks, models, or theories. It urges of authors to interact critically with the body of literature already in existence by providing novel perspectives and arguments that further theoretical knowledge. Opinion pieces can also include the author's personal perspectives on hot-button subjects, trends, or new developments in the field. These kinds of papers encourage critical thinking, refute received wisdom, and suggest new lines of inquiry. Contributors should make sure that their writing is coherent, clear, and has a solid argument.

The number of words mentioned above does not consider the figures and tables for all types of articles, but references should be included in the total. The Editorial Board reserves its right to waive the word limit, although a request may be made to the Editor-in-Chief before submitting the manuscript.
