Abstract
The fast fashion industry has experienced rapid development in line with market demand and the dynamic fashion trends that change every year. Behind this industry's growth lies many negative impacts, including labor exploitation and environmental pollution. The demand from this industry leads to an increased consumption of natural resources, which inevitably results in waste that can contaminate the environment. Additionally, the rights of workers are often not fulfilled, and they face crises related to wages and safety guarantees. This research provides information and understanding using a literature study method to examine the impacts that can be taken to mitigate the negative effects. The results indicate that there is a need for awareness from various parties to actively promote the implementation of sustainable and responsible fashion practices.
