Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Disaster Mitigation Research (JDMR) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and preventing plagiarism in all forms of scholarly publication.
All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection tools before being reviewed. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, including but not limited to direct copying, improper paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, data fabrication, or falsification, will be rejected.
If plagiarism is identified at any stage of the publication process, including after publication, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate action in accordance with ethical publishing standards. Such actions may include rejection of the manuscript, request for revision, or retraction of the published article.
JDMR follows the guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in handling cases of plagiarism and publication misconduct.
