Authors who publish with the Journal of Disaster Mitigation Research (JDMR) agree to the following terms:

1. Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
2. The published work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license, which permits others to share, copy, redistribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes only, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the journal.
3. Authors are permitted to deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories or other repositories of their choice, with proper acknowledgment of its initial publication in JDMR.
4. The journal does not charge any submission or publication fees unless otherwise stated.
