Plagiarism Policy
Unram Journal of Community Service (UJCS) is committed to maintaining academic integrity and originality in all published articles. All submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism.
All manuscripts are screened for similarity using Turnitin or other recognized plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.
UJCS applies a maximum similarity index of 20%, with the following provisions:
-
Similarity ≤ 20%: Manuscripts may proceed to peer review, subject to editorial evaluation.
-
Similarity > 20%: Authors are required to revise their manuscripts and undergo additional similarity screening.
-
Confirmed Plagiarism: Manuscripts may be rejected regardless of the similarity percentage.
Authors are responsible for properly citing all sources and ensuring the originality of their manuscripts. Similarity scores are evaluated in context, considering references, quotations, and commonly used academic terminology.
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, UJCS may issue a correction or retract the article in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
UJCS strictly prohibits plagiarism and is committed to upholding ethical standards in scholarly publishing.
