Focus and Scope

The Journal of Engineering, Environment and Disaster is an open-access, peer reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the fields of engineering, environmental sciences, and disaster management. The journal aims to provide a platform for academics, practitioners, policymakers, and professionals to exchange knowledge and innovations that contribute to sustainable development, environmental protection, and disaster risk reduction.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Civil and Environmental Engineering: structural engineering, water resources engineering, geotechnical engineering, construction management, sustainable infrastructure, and innovative materials.
  2. Environmental Science and Management: environmental monitoring, pollution control, waste management, climate change adaptation and mitigation, ecosystem conservation, and renewable energy.
  3. Disaster Risk Management and Resilience: hazard assessment, disaster mitigation technologies, early warning systems, emergency planning, post-disaster recovery, and community resilience.
  4. Interdisciplinary Studies: integration of engineering solutions, environmental sustainability, and disaster management in addressing global challenges.

The journal particularly encourages research that bridges theory and practice, integrates multidisciplinary approaches, and provides innovative solutions for reducing disaster risks, protecting the environment, and advancing engineering practices for a resilient and sustainable future
