Abstract

This community service program aims to apply lab skills through training and competitions. The target of the activity is prospective chemistry teacher students in the city of Mataram. The method of this program is training and practice in the laboratory to measure the psychomotor skills of students. The results of the community service activities ran smoothly and students were very enthusiastic about participating in the lab skill practice that was competed. The conclusion shows that the psychomotor skills that have been mastered by the participants are: (1) Skills in using tools in the very good category. (2) Skills in recognizing and understanding the identity of chemicals in the good category. (3) analysis and interpretation in the sufficient category, and (4) work safety in the very good category.
