Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools requires the utilization of instructional media to facilitate understanding of abstract mathematical concepts. However, in reality, the use of teaching aids or instructional media, including technology, by teachers in elementary schools is still minimal. This community service aimed to enhance the use of technology in math education, offering Geogebra and Geoboard training for Gugus IV, Sekarbela elementary teachers. Methods encompassed discussions, demonstrations, and simulations of using Geogebra and Geoboard. This activity was carried out at elementary schools in Sekarbela with a total of 18 elementary school teachers participating. The evaluation were conducted through post-test evaluations and questionnaires. The evaluation and questionnaires shows that the participants were (1) enthusiastic, active, and eager to participate in the activity, (2) capable of implementing the use of Geogebra and Geoboard in mathematics learning, (3) provided positive responses to the usefulness of instructional media, and (4) able to correctly answer the given post-test questions. It is hoped that this training will have a positive impact on improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary school classrooms and broaden teachers' understanding of using technology as instructional media
